This method will periodically connect to a message broker using PHP::AMQP, and collect messages from the LSE Student Information System. Students are added and removed from courses (SITS Modules) and groups (CMIS classes). It will create Moodle accounts if these do not already exist.

MY451/MY551 is intended for those with little or no past training in quantitative methods. The course is an intensive introduction to some of the principles and methods of statistical analysis in social research. Topics covered in the course include descriptive statistics, basic ideas of inference and estimation, contingency tables and an introduction to linear regression models. MY451 is the course code for MSc students and MY551 is the course code for PhD students. To find timetabling details of the course, please note that you need to add the suffix 'M' if you are following it in Michaelmas Term, and 'L' if you are following it in Lent Term.
